Hi, welcome to our substack, shared attachment. It’s named after our attachment to pretentious areas of interest like films, shows and literature. And our attachment to having opinions about them that no one asked for.

Rhea is a semi-professional Spotify playlist curator, avid Wong Kar Wai fan (her answer to 'Who's your favourite director?' is ALWAYS prepared), ex-tumblr user turned #1 Linkedin hater and...everything inbetween. She may have the worst case of RBF to exist but don't let that fool you, her Letterboxd activity is just her complaining about her attraction to fictional (sometimes even animated) characters.

Madeline Choi, or Mady, as I know her, would probably describe herself as an “English (BA) undergraduate at University College London (UCL)”. It’s not untrue, but it’s probably not how I’d describe her. Mady is a reader, writer, cinephile who loves booking spontaneous flights to random cities at a cheap price. She is a Steve Lacy/New Balance/Fantastic Mr Fox/fusilli enthusiast. Her fatal flaw is that she is a Crocs connoisseur, but we are working on it. And… she is my friend. <3
